Positive after theft

Last week, my office was a mess. Broken drawers, computer notebooks was missing, time was lost and it was a whole day we were not able to do work. Thieves had entered our office and stolen computer notebooks, electronic equipments, etc. The place was quarantined and we can't go in and do our work. Insurance company and police were doing their job and I still don't know what are the losses.

All the above only produce the kind of negative energy that I hated most. But hey, while I not able to access to my computer, we can some time to strengthen the relationship among colleagues in the same office we are in.

After the investigation was finish, when I got to see my working place, I immediately saw positive. Why? My drawer was opened!.. I had lost the key to the drawer and I found hard time to open it, and hey the thieves did a pretty nice job because not just the drawer was not broken, the lock was opened in a way it did not caused any scratches. What a pro job.

Another positive outcome of this event is during this recession time, this theft can serve as an alert to all of us to becareful not just in the office but also personal belonging and house security.

Hello again, Daniel- I'm so sorry that your office was stolen from; I hope that all of the thieves will be caught! It is a sign of the times, I'm afraid- the world is doing badly financially. In my neighborhood we are having a very rough time; so many armed robberies! The thieves prey upon all of the college students that go to classes at night. It didn't use to be like this. I hope all of your computers, etc. are found & returned to you. Deianera
